We are a Psychology Practice located at Suite 3, 10 McCourt Street West Leederville WA that provides evidence based psychological interventions to individuals and families. 

Angela Carroll is the Principal Practitioner/Senior Clinical Psychologist of Awen Psychology Perth.

Angela specialises in providing therapeutic intervention to children from 12 years and older and adults with Neurodevelopment Disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (including co-morbid severe anxiety), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and Specific Learning Disorders. She also specialises in the treatment of anxiety, depression and complex trauma (including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). 

Angela has considerable experience in treating Grief/or Loss; Stress, Anger Management and Emotional Regulation; Social Interaction and Social Communication deficits; Building Self-Esteem, Assertiveness and Confidence; Behavioural Management; and Personality Disorders/Adjustment issues. 

Angela uses a range of therapeutic interventions including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. She is fully trained and accredited by the EMDR Institute. 

Our practice provides a friendly, caring and personalised service by tailoring each person’s therapeutic strategies to their own unique set of circumstances. Angela has a B.A. Hon. (Psych) from Murdoch University and a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) from Curtin University. Angela has 27 years of experience working in the field of psychology in Government Departments, Education, Not-For-Profit Family Based Organisations and Private Practice, and is a board approved supervisor.
